Notes from Helen:

1. From the Sullivan, NH book, page 469, evidently a marriage record, Lucy N. Barrett to a Andrew J.Curtis1956. I think this is Lucy Nichols Barrett. I have seen other records for her. I don't remember who her parents are.

2 Sullivan, N.H., page more on Lucy Nichols Barrett.

3. A William Wood that married a Lucy Barrett in Concord 1844.

4. Sullivan History, This is good info for us. I had printed this out to send to you! Note they mention Lucy Nichols Barret. Will have to check that out some more!

1. NATHANIEL.1 ABBOTT, then of Westford, Mass., m. Phebe (or Phoebe)

Cummings. Among their ch. was James Cummings2 Abbott, 1, b. (according

to the marriage license of his elder dau., recorded in Keene, N. H.)

in Tyngsborough, Mass., Aug. 5, 1805. Statements that he was b. in

Stoddard are probably wrong.

at South Vineland, N. J., Aug. 8, 1891; dau. of John and Lucy

(Nichols) Barrett. Information that she was b. in Stoddard is

doubtless inaccurate. He r. in Nelson and S. Oc. farming. He lived,

1858-80, at 210. He died in S., Apr. 26, 1880. Ch., all b. in Nelson:

blacksmith, b. in Richmond, Oct. 13, 1821; d. in Richmond, probably;

son of Ellis and Lois (Swan) Thayer. She was divorced and m. 2d, Jan.

ch. by Mr. Thayer, Ellis and Leona, who d. young.

5. Another marriage record:

KIRKHAN Geo. W. and Lucy A. Barrett, Sept. 2,

1877. Does not say where. Too late for ours.

6. The rest are marriages in other states. They don't seem to fit ours.

This seems to be all for our Lucy. Sure lots of Lucy Barretts! They were still coming into the country in 1870. ha

I just looked through a bunch of other things. I think I have more trouble! Someone has posted on the Barrett GenForum about Lucy Barrett. Not sure if we are wrong or they are!
